Before your visit
- Track your last 3 menstrual cycle start dates and note any irregular patterns.
- Write down any symptoms — pain, unusual discharge, heavy bleeding — with dates.
- Bring previous ultrasound, scan, or lab reports (even from other hospitals).
- List all medications, supplements, and contraceptives you're currently taking.
- Avoid using vaginal creams or douches for 24 hours before an internal examination.
- If pregnant, bring your maternal card (if available) and antenatal reports.
